Deacon Sigfried Seitzinger

Deacon Sigfried “Sig” was ordained on October 12, 2025, by His Eminence Metropolitan Constantine.

Motivated by St. John Chrysostom’s call to serve those in need and to serve Christ through compassionate action, Deacon Sig brings a background in work as a life coach and case manager, where he served the homeless and individuals in crisis. He now dedicates his time as a hospice chaplain, providing care and comfort to the seriously ill.

Deacon Sig is committed to ongoing service within the faithful Orthodox community at St. John the Baptist in Pueblo.

He has been married to his wife, Diakonesa Michelle, for over 20 years, and they are the proud parents of two grown children, both living in Colorado. His faith and dedication inspire him to be a source of hope and solace for everyone he encounters, embodying the love and humility of Christ in all who he serves.
