The foods are crafted on site, and include gyro sandwiches, Greek shish ka bobs, Greek fries, and popular Greek pastries (baklava, powdered sugar cookies, Greek doughnuts). The pastries are handmade by the members of the church community, using recipes that have been passed down through generations. The Greek doughnuts, called loukoumathes, are covered with honey and made fresh at the festival. |
